Our editorial interests include politics and governance, economics, society, education, health, technology, institutions, accountability, public finances and other public-interest issues. Investigations are a central part of the publication's purpose.
Continental perspective
TRUTHLINE AFRICA is intended to cover Africa as a whole. Our regional structure includes:

The publication is based in Kenya and is being developed with a continental editorial outlook. We do not claim offices or correspondents in places where none have been established.
Our approach
We aim to publish reporting that is carefully researched, evidence-led and relevant to the public. The site will distinguish editorial journalism from commercial advertising and will not present paid advertising as independent reporting.

Abdullahi Hassan is a Kenyan media entrepreneur and the founder and Editor-in-Chief of TRUTHLINE AFRICA. His interest is in investigative media, public-interest journalism and reporting on issues affecting communities across Africa.
